These natural changes are part of the character and beauty of handmade work and are not considered defects unless caused by a clear failure in craftsmanship.

Wood Disclaimer
Wood is an ever-changing natural medium. Even when carefully selected, dried, shaped, and finished, wood may naturally respond to its environment over time.
This can include:
• Slight expansion or contraction
• Subtle movement
• Minor changes in texture or appearance
• Color shifts with age and use
While we take thoughtful steps to minimize movement and instability, we cannot guarantee that wood products will remain completely unchanged over time.
Natural wood movement, grain variation, and age-related changes are part of the character of real wood and are not considered defects.

Food-Safe Finish & Kitchenware Use
Our wooden bowls, charcuterie boards, spoons, and other food-contact items are finished with a natural blend of flaxseed oil and beeswax, which we use as a food-safe finish when properly cured and used as intended.
Food-contact items are intended for normal household serving and kitchen use only.
To help preserve your piece:
• Hand wash only
• Do not soak
• Do not place in the dishwasher
• Dry promptly after washing
• Avoid extreme heat or sudden temperature changes
• Recondition as needed according to our care recommendations
Improper care may result in cracking, warping, splitting, raised grain, staining, or finish deterioration, and these issues are not covered under our workmanship guarantee.
Decorative and sculptural items are not intended for food use unless specifically stated.
Handmade Variation Notice
Every Geesler Studio piece is made by hand. No two items are exactly alike.
Natural and handmade variations may include differences in:
• Shape
• Size
• Wood grain
• Color tone
• Surface texture
• Hand-finished details

Decorative items should be displayed and handled with care and kept out of reach of children or pets when appropriate, especially where small parts, pointed elements, metal components, or delicate materials may be present.

90-Day Limited Workmanship Guarantee
All Geesler Studio products are covered by a 90-day limited workmanship guarantee beginning on the date your order is delivered.
This guarantee applies only to defects in manufacturing or craftsmanship. In other words, if an issue appears to be the direct result of how the piece was made or finished, we will review it and determine whether it qualifies for coverage.
If a claim is approved, we may choose to resolve it through repair, replacement, store credit, or refund, at our sole discretion.
Because many of our pieces are handmade or one of a kind, an exact replacement may not always be possible.

What Is Not Covered
Our workmanship guarantee does not cover damage, wear, or changes caused by:
• Misuse or abuse
• Neglect
• Improper cleaning or care
• Failure to follow care instructions
• Dishwashing or soaking
• Prolonged exposure to water or moisture
• Exposure to extreme heat, cold, dryness, or humidity
• Sudden temperature changes
• Sun exposure or improper storage
• Accidental damage
• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic changes from everyday use
• Natural material movement, expansion, contraction, or aging
Because our work is handmade and made from natural materials, slight variations in grain, color, figure, texture, shape, dimensions, and finish are normal and expected. These natural variations are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.

Warranty Claims
If you believe your item has a covered defect, please contact us within 90 days of delivery.
To help us evaluate the issue, we may ask for:

Photos are often required so we can determine whether the issue appears to be related to manufacturing or craftsmanship and whether it may qualify under this policy.

However, Geesler Studio is not responsible for lost, delayed, or stolen packages after they have been marked as delivered by the carrier.
If shipping insurance was purchased or included, claims may need to be filed through the carrier or applicable shipping insurance provider.

Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please keep all original packaging until the issue has been reviewed, as it may be needed for a carrier claim.
