Nature In Wool
These sculptural animals are created by hand using needle felting, a process where wool is carefully shaped and compacted into form one fiber at a time. Each piece is then mounted on thoughtfully selected wood chosen to reflect the animal’s natural habitat and create a more complete sense of place. The combination of soft textile work and weathered natural materials gives each sculpture a strong sense of character, while highlighting both craftsmanship and a connection to the outdoors.
The Entropy Series
The Entropy Series explores the relationship between time, decay, and preservation. Each clock begins with a naturally deteriorated, organically shaped piece of wood that is stabilized with resin to preserve its character and structure. The clock face is then turned on the lathe, with select brass details added using CNC machining. By combining reclaimed material, traditional woodworking, and modern techniques, each piece highlights the contrast between natural aging and precise craftsmanship—turning weathered wood into a functional object that reflects both the passage of time and the effort to hold onto it.
